


Drew E. Lawton is a 26-year veteran of the financial services industry and serves as President of Fridson Investment Advisors overseeing the firm\'s business activities, including client services, marketing and distribution, as well as partnering with BNP Paribas on their global distribution efforts on behalf of FIA. Before joining FIA in August 2008, Lawton completed an 11-year career with Fidelity Investments, serving most recently as President of Pyramis Global Advisors Trust Company, Fidelity\'s institutional asset management business.
Prior to the creation of Pyramis in 2005, Lawton was President and CEO of Fidelity Management Trust Company (FMTC) with full profit and loss responsibility for Fidelity\'s defined-benefit and trust and custody businesses. FMTC\'s success prompted Fidelity to enhance its commitment to institutional client markets through the formation of Pyramis.
Upon joining Fidelity in 1997, Lawton\'s first position with the firm was as Executive Vice President of Investment Services, directing the investment-related activities of their defined contribution business in the US. These services included strategic development, investment consulting services for clients, new business development, and product management.
Prior to joining Fidelity, Lawton served in a variety of positions at Aetna while also completing graduate school. His career at Aetna culminated in his 1994 appointment as the Chief Marketing Officer for Aeltus Investment Management, the company\'s investment management subsidiary.
Lawton earned his B.A. from Yale University in 1981 and his M.B.A. in finance from the University of North Texas in 1991. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Massachusetts, and also serves on the Board of Directors of Life Resources, Inc.
