Kristen X. Mahoney joined Fridson Investment Advisors (FIA), as director of client relations in May 2008. Mahoney began her career on Wall Street in 1994 as an editor and project manager working at Waterhouse Securities, Rodman & Renshaw, LLC., and Merrill Lynch. At Merrill Lynch, Mahoney served as vice president and managing editor of the high yield strategy department.

In 2003, Mahoney joined FridsonVision as a consultant, eventually taking the position of chief administrative officer. In her role as CAO, Mahoney oversaw the production and development of FridsonVision's research products, coordinated marketing efforts, and managed the company's day-to-day operations.

Mahoney is a graduate of Fairfield University in Connecticut. Originally from Poughkeepsie, NY, she now resides in New York City.
